Tripper is a life-long El Pasoan committed to serving his clients and the Borderplex region. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Paso del Norte Community Foundation, where he also served as Board Chair. He is Chairman of Pioneers 21 and serves on the boards of Kids Excel and the Texas Workforce Commission.
Tripper’s long list of community involvement includes acting as Chairman of the 2012 El Paso Quality of Life Bond Issues, and Board Chair of ReadyOne Industries, the UTEP Development Board, the El Paso City Manager Selection Committee, the YWCA Foundation Investment Committee, and Leadership El Paso’s Class 15. He served as Co-Chair of the Paso del Norte Group Civic Committee and Membership Committee. He served on the Executive Committee of the Greater El Paso Chamber, the Sun Bowl Association, was President of the YWCA of El Paso and the El Paso Guidance Center.
He has served on the boards of Capital Bank, the Providence Hospital Foundation, the Downtown Management District, Junior Achievement of the Desert Southwest, the Wells Fargo Advisory Board, United Way of El Paso, the YWCA Foundation, and YPO of El Paso, where he was also President. Tripper has also served on the Boards of Hotel Dieu Hospital, and the Sunturians.
